Join 5 Metro Detroit Children’s Authors for a day of readings, activities and other cultural arts festivities! The authors and their books are Denise Crittendon, Life Is A Party That Comes With Exams; Karen E. Dabney, The Magic Pencil; Phyllis A. Russell-Gilmer, Where Do Crickets Go When Winter Comes?; Kenya Harper, All Boys And Girls Can Grow Up To Be Healers; and David L. Watkins, Lancaster Lion. The readings and related activities will take place between 12 PM – 4:30 PM. The Center will be open until 6 PM. The Center houses a gift and apparel shop, gallery and bookstore.
